GBG is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Santanello

Global Benefits Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Santanello as its Chief Financial Officer effective June 28, 2021.

Melissa will be responsible for the global finance function, accelerating our acquisition efforts and bringing focus to our goal of making GBG the leading specialty health insurer in the market.

As a member of the executive team Melissa will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Chris DiSipio and will be based in our Princeton, NJ office. Chris commented, “We are excited to have Melissa join the executive team and believe her extensive international experience will help GBG achieve its strategic objectives.”

Melissa has over 18 years of experience across all aspects of Finance and Accounting and comes to us from a large, international insurance company where she served as a segment Business Finance Officer. There, she successfully led the Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting and Accounting organizations with oversight for 80+ employees dispersed globally.

Melissa holds an accounting degree from Rutgers University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Pennsylvania.
