KEYNOTE

Re-inventing what it takes to win

The man who completed 100 Ironman triathlons in 100 days on why reinvention is a discipline you repeat, not a moment you reach. A fitting open for a day about staying steady while the ground keeps shifting.

I didn't set out to break records, but to set new standards.

James “The Iron Cowboy” Lawrence

CUSTOMER PANEL

How leading brands use reinvention to win

As brands scale, fraud rises, regulation tightens, and customers still expect effortless experiences. Leaders from gaming, retail and financial services shared how they use onboarding to reinvent fast, driving growth without trading away trust or customer experience.

The throughline was adaptability: AI has gone from a distant cloud to everyday operational reality in barely a year, and the businesses that stay still are the ones that fall behind.

Being adaptable is a skill every successful person is going to need throughout their entire life from here on.

Frank Mosconi, VP, Bally’s Interactive

Session moderated by Gus Tomlinson, Chief Product & Technology Officer, GBG, with Hani Batla, Adorama, and Anna Fridley, Navy Federal Credit Union

AGENTIC COMMERCE

Are you ready for conversational trust?

As transactions shift from clicks to conversations, businesses need a model of continuous trust that unites data signals in real time and adapts as interactions unfold. The panel drew the line clearly: people already trust AI to plan a trip, but not yet to book it. Closing that gap unlocks new revenue, not just shifted revenue, and it needs new infrastructure, including a way to trust not just a person but their agent.

What we already have for humans in the Identity Risk Score, we now need for agents. Call it an Agent Trust Score.

Cooper Moo, Director of Agentic Commercialization, Mastercard

Session moderated by Kartik Venkatesh, Global Head of Innovation, GBG, with Sunil Kumar Amara, Michael Kors, and Aditya Pendyala, AWS

FIRESIDE

How to shift your onboarding from volume to value

As AI, analytics and data accelerate onboarding, growth is no longer about saying yes more often. It is about saying yes better. The conversation made the case that upfront pass rate flatters the numbers while hiding what matters: the long-term value of the customers you let through.

Upfront pass rate is broken. The better indicator is expected customer value.

Brady Harrison, Head of Strategy and Execution, Identity & Fraud Services, Equifax

In conversation with James Cabezas, Senior Vice President, GBG

KNOW YOUR FRAUDSTER

Fraud is adapting, are you?

US regulation has made onboarding easier for genuine customers, but fraudsters are already probing the gaps, now armed with the same open frontier models as everyone else. The panel asked the uncomfortable question of who adapts faster, and what fraud and compliance teams need to change to keep pace.

Which will move faster: fraud and compliance teams or fraudsters with open source, open frontier models?

Riley Hughes, Co-founder and CEO, Trinsic

Session moderated by Micah Willbrand, Chief Product Officer, GBG, with Alexander Forostenko, Sonotheia, Daniel DuBee, Lotto.com, and Ian Watson, Celent

What’s next for GBG?

To close, our Chief Product and Technology Officer set out where GBG is heading: reinvention is no longer a one-time event, and the advantage goes to those who turn data into signals, signals into real-time action, and adaptability into a strategic habit.

Reinvention relies on signals, adaptability and flexibility in mindset.

Gus Tomlinson - Chief Product and Technology Officer, GBG

I found the conversation about agentic commerce really interesting. We need to be ready for it before it surpasses what we’re doing.
